Carbon fabrics manufactured by Porcher Industries are used in all those cutting edge industries which require high performance materials. Carbon fabrics combine low weight with superior mechanical and thermal properties. These characteristics combined with flexibility in application extend the boundaries of size and design of the finished piece . Porcher Industries offers a wide range of balanced and unidirectional carbon fabrics based on 1K through to 48K fibres. Special trials can be made on request.

FLAT TOW FABRICS
Porcher Industries has perfected the “Flat tow” technology whereby cosmetically perfect fabrics based on 12K fibre fabrics can be produced with the same weight as 3K fibre fabrics.

This technology has the following advantages
- Super flat and uniform surface aspect
- Improved spreadability
- Significantly lower price per square metre than equivalent 3K fabric
