We are very excited to confirm that Enata Kites is using Porcher Sport’s Skytex range for its competition Kite Pro Series Xa/R 2018.
Dubbed as a kite for the racing addict, the Xa/R 2018 is Enata’s extreme high aspect ratio kite that has been designed with one goal – to provide the best performance for racers. The Xa/R 2018 is the most aerodynamically efficient kite with the highest lift to drag ratio and it will be powered by Porcher Sport’s Skytex 32gm and Skytex 38 gm – two of Porcher’s most popular fabrics, known for their performance enhancing attributes.
The ENATA R&D department has tested several materials for the Xa/R kites. Using Porcher Sport’s highly durable 38gm for the top layer and its lightweight 32gm for the bottom surface, it has been found to provide the best performance, especially at higher wind speeds. The fabric also has a very low water uptake, giving a huge advantage when the wing is in the water.
The Xa/R 2018 has already been tested in competition conditions and we are pleased to congratulate Enata on its amazing performance. Having won 1st place in Abu Dhabi, Mexico, Korea, China and Istanbul, Enata Kites finished the year with a well-earned second place at the IKA World Championships in Oman.
Wihout a doubt, the Xa/R 2018 will own the podiums in 2018!
